Chapter 223 Site Expansion

The laboratory of the Medical University is indeed well-equipped.

Various instruments are available, and several students in white coats are busy in front of the experimental table.

Seeing Huang Li come in, they all stopped what they were doing and greeted respectfully: "Hello, Professor Huang."

Hang Mengyao was also among them. She put down the test tube in her hand and walked towards me in surprise: "Brother Chen Hao, why are you here in our school?"

Huang Li spoke first: "You all should go out first, I have an important set of experiments to do."

Several students, although they looked curious, packed up their things and left the laboratory. Only Han Mengyao stood still and did not move.

"Teacher Huang, let me stay and help." She said firmly.

Huang Li glanced at her and said, "That's fine."

After the others left, Huang Li motioned for me to lie down on an examination bed.

She took down a set of testing equipment covered with electrodes from the wall and adjusted the instrument.

Han Mengyao stood aside and helped me connect a few electrodes: "Brother Chen Hao, are you feeling uncomfortable somewhere?"

"There are some abnormal reactions in your body." I answered vaguely.

Huang Li connected the last electrode and turned to the computer screen: "Although her physical fitness has improved significantly, it has the side effect of periodic body temperature imbalance."

Complex waveforms and data began to scroll on the screen.

“When was the last attack?” Huang Li asked seriously.

“Last Wednesday. I had a fever all over my body that lasted for about forty minutes.” I answered truthfully.

Han Mengyao asked in surprise: "Then how did you solve it?"

"Run!" There was no other way at the time.

"Oh, I thought you..." Han Mengyao knew something about Chen Hao's physical condition, and the best antidote was a woman.

Huang Li quickly entered commands on the keyboard, then took out a handheld infrared scanner and scanned my forehead and chest.

"The frequency of attacks is increasing, and the next attack may be more frequent."

"Have you not found Cynomorium Cynomorium yet?" Han Mengyao asked with concern.

  "No." Huang Li answered simply.

"The terrain of Shuangyang Mountain is complex, and Cynomorium cynomorium is very good at camouflage. Last time I searched for three days and found nothing."

I buttoned up my shirt and sat up from the examination bed: "Maybe next time I should look for it alone."

h Huang Li turned around with a serious expression: "It's too dangerous to go into the mountains alone. Besides, with your current physical condition, if you suddenly have an attack in the mountains..."

h "But I can't wait like this forever." I interrupted her.

"The frequency of attacks is getting higher and higher, so we can't just rely on force every time."

Han Mengyao looked at me and then at Huang Li, but hesitated to speak.

Huang Li sighed and handed me an inhibitor: "At least bring this with you. If you decide to go into the mountains, tell me the specific time and route in advance."

I took the inhibitor and put it in my pocket. Han Mengyao followed me to the door of the laboratory: "Brother Chen Hao, how about I go with you to find it!"

"No need for the time being." I shook my head.

I want to go into the mountains alone. Bringing Han Mengyao with me has become a burden - although she has good intentions, I may not be able to take care of her in the deep mountains and old forests.

After leaving the Medical University, Huang Li’s test data gave me a clearer understanding of my physical condition. The cold inhibitor was lying quietly in my trouser pocket, reminding me of the unstable factors hidden in my body.

As soon as I walked to the car, my cell phone rang. Wang Qiuya's name danced on the screen.

"Chen Hao, take me to the mall now. I want to buy something."

I opened the car door and got into the driver's seat: "Okay, I'll go there now."

Twenty minutes later, the car stopped downstairs at Wang Qiuya's house.

I accompanied Wang Qiuya while shopping in the mall, and her footsteps unconsciously turned to the maternal and infant area.

"Is it too early to go to a maternity and baby store?" I looked at the small and cute baby clothes in the window. The due date is still seven or eight months away.

"While you can still walk, let's go shopping." She said and had already walked into the store.

 “I don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl yet.” I reminded.

"This is simple." She took down a light blue one and a pink one, "Just buy a few sets of each."

What she picked were not cheap brand products. From time to time, she picked up one and asked me: "How is this one?"

From the smiling eyes of the store clerk, I could feel that they regarded Wang Qiuya and I as a pair of ordinary expectant parents.

This misunderstanding makes me a little embarrassed, but it’s hard to explain.

Wang Qiuya didn't seem to care, still focusing on selecting.

She picked up a pair of beige baby socks and compared them in her palms. They were shockingly small.

"Is it too small?" I couldn't help but ask.

“Newborns are like this.” She was immersed in the joy of being a mother.

At checkout, the clerk enthusiastically recommended the membership card: "Mom and dad can get points if you apply together."

Wang Qiuya took over the conversation: "Next time." She naturally held my arm.

When we walked to the shopping mall corridor, she let go of her hand and said calmly: "Go get something to drink!"

After sitting down in the cafe, we each ordered a drink.

Wang Qiuya stirred the latte in her cup: "Is it going well for the training at the headquarters?"

"Overall it was pretty good. It mainly talked about some standardized procedures for site operation management and rider dispatching."

She nodded: "I heard that this selection is very strict, and all those who can participate are outstanding talents from various regions."

I put down my cup, "I got to know a lot of colleagues, and after talking with each other, I found that everyone faces similar problems."

She nodded: "Then what do you think is the biggest advantage of our station?" Her eyes were with the usual prudence, which is the look she often has as a manager. "Our advantage lies in delivery timeliness and customer satisfaction." I answered calmly

"Especially the scheduling plan during peak hours, which is unmatched by other stations. During this training, many colleagues were very interested in the operation data of our station."

Wang Qiuya nodded thoughtfully, and suddenly the topic changed: "During the training, you didn't encounter anything special, right? It seems that you have lost weight after you came back."

"It's just that the training intensity is relatively high," I responded vaguely.

"We have to expand our business next, and the pressure on your side will be even greater." Wang Qiuya's words were like a heavy burden on my shoulders.

"The current site has just stabilized, will it be too fast to expand?"

"The training of new riders has not yet fully caught up, and the system has only just been adjusted in place..."

"Time waits for no one. Your competitors will not stop and wait for you. Last week, Dongge Takeaway has opened two new stations in the west of the city, and the market share is being divided." Wang Qiuya

She took out a document from her bag and pushed it in front of me: "This It's a research report just done by the marketing department. If we don't occupy Chengdong New District first, it will be too late until the layout of other platforms is completed. "

I looked at the data in the report and it is expected that three large communities will be put into use next month.

"I understand your concerns. But sometimes opportunities are right in front of you, and if you miss them, you won't get them again." Wang Qiuya is right.

"If I really want to expand, I need at least two experienced deputy webmasters..."
